I have crowns/caps/fillings/veneers, can I have a teeth whitening appointment?
Yes you can! The teeth whitening procedure will restore crowns, caps, fillings or veneers to their original colour and will not cause any damage. Please note that the process will not whiten them more than their original colour
Is it ok for sensitive teeth?
A 30 watt aura power laser light, and a safe non- peroxide gel/strip is used in the appointment these are both ok for sensitive teeth. However, a small percentage of people experience temporary sensitivity to hot or cold for 24 hours following their appointment.
Will I see instant results?
Yes, you will see instant results. The extent of the results cannot be predicted as this does vary person to person. However, most people achieve several shades lighter. If after your appointment you would like your teeth a lighter shade you can book another appointment 7 days after.
How long will the results last?
Your teeth should stay noticeably whiter for 6 months after having laser teeth whitening appointment. Correct aftercare is advised to help you keep your perfect white smile!
What can I eat before and after my teeth whitening appointment?
It is recommended that you do not smoke, eat coloured food and drinks 24 hours before and after your teeth whitening appointment.
Who cannot have laser teeth whitening?
Anyone who is currently suffering from gum disease. It is essential that if you have any signs of gum disease you should be seen by your dentist before attending any teeth whitening appointments.
It is also recommend that pregnant women do not have their teeth whitened.
