PRP is plasma with many more platelets than what is typically found in blood. The concentration of platelets — and, thereby, the concentration of growth factors — can be 5 to 10 times greater (or richer) than usual. To develop a PRP preparation, blood must first be drawn from a patient.
How long will the treatment take?
Each area can vairy depending on size? but roughly
45-60 minutes each treatment and usually a course of three is reccomended, maybe more with hair resoration? Normally 4-6 weeks apart, with top ups at 6-24 months.
A PRP facial rejuvenation, also known as a vampire facial, is an advanced skincare treatment method that harnesses your body's own natural power to heal itself. It is often called a vampire facial because it involves drawing your blood.
Microneedling along with injection points can also be used to place the plasma directly to the areas needed. Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that’s primarily used to minimize the signs of aging stimulating collagen.
The treated areas will be red on the day and gradually subside. Make up can be applied on the next day.
To achieve the best outcome, treatment might be delivered via monthly injections for three consecutive months. After such care, results typically last a minimum of nine to 18 months. However, the benefits can last as long as two years depending on aging, sun exposure, and genetics.
Injected just below the surface of the skin, PRP Injections can help reverse the signs of aging in the skin, including eliminating or improving the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin.
Botox works to relax the facial muscles so that you can be left with smoother skin without wrinkles and fine lines. PRP, on the other hand, uses your own blood to stimulate the skin on your face so that new, healthier skin cells can grow.
If you decide to have a PRP facial, prepare to have your blood drawn. You can also expect some pain and slight post-treatment bruising from the microneedling. A topical anesthetic can be applied to help with any discomfort.
Almost any area of the face and body can be treated as its using your own bodys plasma.

PRP treatment is a non-surgical medical procedure where concentrated plasma rich in growth factor and nutrients separated from your own blood are injected into parts of your scalp that need hair growth. It is a safe and effective way to reverse hair loss and activate new hair growth.
Does PRP really work for hair?
PRP consists of a large number of proteins and growth factor mediums in it. It is believed that due to its rich content of tissue repairing components, PRP can be successfully administered to select cases of hair loss. It is known that a certain type of hair loss results from damage to the hair follicles.
PRP hair restoration produces noticeable results after just four to six weeks. However, it may be approximately 3.5 months before you see the results you were looking for. Due to the hair growth cycle, ideal results can take up to three sessions spaced one month apart to become apparent.
Avoid touching or apply anything on the treated area for 12 hours. It’s advised to apply moisturiser regularly after 12 hours as the skin could be come dry and flaky during the first 2-3 days. Apply sunscreen and avoid strong sun exposure in the first week after the treatment.
